Informed Consent Policy ‎

 | Post date: 2020/09/20 |
Informed Consent
All authors are required to obtain a written and signed informed consent form from each human participant who is voluntarily recruited into their studies. The document should clearly indicate the consent of the subject to participate unless the University’s Ethics Committee has waived the requirement for obtaining the consent document or the subject’s signature. A signed consent form must be particularly obtained for studies that collect biological specimens from human subjects for genetic analysis. Also, it is ideal to include an informed consent form for most exempt projects, so the subjects review it before entering the study. If the University’s Ethics Committee waives the requirement for a consent form or for the subject’s signature, authors should still provide the participants with the main elements of the informed consent and a copy of the consent document. Lastly, the authors are required to provide the Journal with information about the informed consent process of their studies and indicate the facts in their submissions.
